Warranty Policy
When undertaking a significant project like having your house painted, it brings peace of mind to know there’s a dependable and reliable safety-net. At Southern Painting Austin we take our pride in our precise and high-quality paint jobs. However, should you face any issues with out workmanship, rest assured that we are just a phone call away to make the appropriate corrections.
OUR WARRANTY POLICY:
Subject to the conditions outlined below, Southern Painting Austin provides a 3-year warranty from the date on your contract. We will rectify any instances of cracking, peeling, or chipping paint resulting from defective workmanship.
To activate this warranty, you must:
Keep and provide proof of your original contract.
Show proof that your contact is paid in full with no outstanding balance.
Contact Southern Painting Austin by phone and arrange an inspection of your property, outline the nature and extent of the required repairs, and schedule the work.
Make the property accessible to us, to perform the repairs.
Southern Painting Austin will:
Correct related repairs needed at no cost to you.
Address repairs related to surface preparation as specified in the original contract.
Tackle repairs in specific areas where cracking, peeling, and/or chipping has occurred. Note that an exact color match cannot always be guaranteed due to environmental factors affecting paint over time.
What the Warranty does NOT cover:
Any work where Southern Painting Austin did not perform the work or supply the paint materials.
Work not executed by our team or where non-employees have attempted any part of the job, including surface preparation.
Issues arising from water intrusion or moisture-related paint peeling. Properly applied paint may peel in areas exposed to significant moisture.
Paint bubbling or peeling on horizontal surfaces or structures designed to retain moisture, such as decks, railings, stairs, and porches.
Any paint bubbling.
Surfaces with varnished or natural finishes..
Varnished or natural finished wood surfaces.
We will not be responsible for exact matching of existing colors or textures. Neither can Southern Painting Austin guarantee that the finish paint samples you selected will exactly match the finish coating.
Paint failures not related to workmanship, such as fading, chalking, and flashing.
The appearance of mildew, mold, or any other environmental conditions, these things have nothing to do with the workmanship of the team or professional paint project.
Cracks resulting from earthquakes or ground movement.
Damage due to wear and tear, foundational issues, or any other natural causes outside the scope of a professional paint project.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY SOUTHERN PAINTING AUSTIN AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO SERVICES RENDERED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AS NAMED IN THE CONTRACT.
